After the success of his debut, In Bruges, writer/director Martin McDonagh seems to have gained the clout to attract even more high-profile talent to his next film. Just announced on the cast list for Psychopaths are Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits and Olga Kurylenko.
The story follows Colin Farrell as a scriptwriter stricken with a nasty bout of writer's block while trying to finish the titular screenplay. When he gets mixed up with a pair of dognappers (Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken), he not only finds his inspiration, but also incurs the wrath of the gangster (Harrelson) who owns the dog they've just stolen. Kurylenko and Waits' roles are still unconfirmed, but the film has now started pre-production.
